The WILDE Foundation is a specialist women-only service that supports women and girls affected by all forms of gender-based violence and provides training for professionals and communities. Our services offer holistic domestic abuse training that supports women and girls’ transformation from survivor to ambassadors, influencers and encouragers.
We obtain information about you when you contact us, and this can be via the phone, in person or by email, for example when you enquire about services or training courses.
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, telephone number, email address, GP contact details, overview of traumatic events, relevant health issues and details of other services you are in contact with. You may be asked to provide other information that assists the WILDE Foundation to ensure we monitor equal opportunities. This is personal data (or “sensitive data”) such as your gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, faith and employment / training / carer status.
We may use your information
We may also use your information to communicate with you about training courses and services we believe may be of interest to you in accordance with your communicated preferences. This might include sending you publicity on courses / programmes and wider VAWG sector news.
On occasion we may also use information you provide such as quotes, questionnaire and interview feedback, photographic images and video footage (where WILDE owns the copyright in such materials), case studies and social impact information for marketing or fundraising purposes. This includes social media, website and on printed material.
